Job descriptionNegotiable base salary : $300K-$400K + productivity bonus $50K signing bonus W-2 employment with full benefits : health, dental, vision, 401(k), life, disability CME + PTO + relocation assistance EMR and telepsychiatry platforms in place Leadership, directorship, and teaching opportunities available Clinic scheduling is 100% up to you : See 15, 30, 45 or 60 minute appointment times Support NP panels, conduct chart reviews (~10% of time), and oversee complex medication plans Access to innovative tools : TMS therapy, genetic testing, and electroconvulsive therapy Treat complex, high-acuity adult and child / adolescent patients who need real psychiatric expertise Join a respected practice that's building Alabama's next psychiatric residency program Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods. Maintain a healthier equilibrium between work and personal life, avoiding burnout and stress. Navigate career transitions or specialty changes with greater ease by gaining exposure to different practice settings and patient populations through locum work. Participate in clinical research projects or data collection initiatives during locum assignments, contributing to medical knowledge advancement and evidence-based practice. Tailor patient care approaches to individual needs and preferences, free from institutional protocols or constraints, fostering patient-centered care and satisfaction.
