Job Responsibilities :

The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psycho-social, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patients' conditions, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Education : Certification from approved Practical Nursing Program
• License : Licensed as a LPN to practice in the State of Louisiana.
• Experience : One year LPN experience preferred. Previous experience with behavioral health and / or geriatrics strongly preferred.
