Compensation

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $5,860 - $6,940

OB / GYN Job Details

Assignment Dates : December 25, 2025 @ 7am – December 29, 2025 @ 7am

Employment Type : Locum Tenens Physician (Travel Contract)

Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit (8 beds)

Patient Encounters Per Shift : 5 to 10

Shift Duration : 12-hour shifts (day or night)

Location : Sanford, North Carolina (near Raleigh National Airport)

Physician Qualifications

Active MD license (North Carolina preferred)

Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in OB / GYN jobs

Required certifications : ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS

Experience managing low and high-risk pregnancies

Proficiency in OB ultrasounds (Level I / Screening), FHR interpretation, and routine / complicated deliveries

Ability to perform office / minor gynecology procedures and surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic)

Estimated credentialing timeframe : 30 days

OB / GYN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive OB / GYN care in the Labor & Delivery unit

Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds

Perform routine and complicated deliveries : vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiple births, VBACs, abruptions

Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Conduct office / minor gynecology procedures : IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, and more

Perform surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic diagnostic / minor and operative / major procedures)

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
