Key Responsibilities

Active RN license from the state you plan to work in.Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience.Ability to push, pull, support, and lift at least 80 pounds.Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking.Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred).Annual physical exam.Negative TB test results.COVID-19 Vaccination—adherence to current health guidelines is required.Your Role
As a ShiftMed RN, your duties will include :
Conducting ongoing patient assessments to ensure optimal health levels.Administering and documenting medications per facility policies.Transcribing and implementing physician orders accurately.Delegating tasks to nurse aides while ensuring quality care delivery.Overseeing clinical operations for nursing and patient care activities.Continuously collecting and reviewing patient assessment data.Creating care plans to meet patient goals.Identifying and addressing patient / family learning needs.Communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally.Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.Maintaining flexibility regarding patient assignments and staffing requirements.Promoting a positive work environment and exemplifying a positive attitude.Ready to start your easy RN credentialing process? Hourly pay rates may vary based on the location of ShiftMed healthcare facility partners. All advertised rates reflect current offers from ShiftMed partner facilities. Rates may fluctuate during the week based on the facility you schedule with.ShiftMed complies with CMS and local Department of Health regulations concerning COVID-19 vaccinations. Healthcare professionals must remain current with all recommended vaccination doses, including boosters when necessary. Those not up to date may face weekly testing and comply with mask mandates at healthcare facilities. Vaccinated staff may still go through regular COVID-19 symptom screenings.
