Assembler - Manufacturing

Pay Transparency : starting rate of $23 per hour, plus quarterly bonus eligibility.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Review order, build tickets and prints to determine required assembly, exterior finish or any special options.
• Assemble components according to drawings, instructions and established standards.
• Proactively identify and write material / hardware shortages on bay white board.
• Follow inventory replenishment processes.
• Report all non-conforming parts, materials or drawings to assigned Production Supervisor.
• Ability to input and scan work order data into MRP / JDE system using RF Scanner, keyboard and mouse and complete required reporting.
• Consult Assembly Lead / Supervisor on suggestion / guidance to resolve assembly problems.
• Follow all standard procedures and processes in accordance to assembly of machine in order to build a defect-free product. Complete required in-process inspection, repair any defects found and document critical quality information as necessary.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of FS Solutions.
• Meet predetermined daily / weekly / monthly efficiency, productivity, utilization and ship schedule for final assembly and subassemblies.
• Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Perform all assigned safety / environmental inspections following the predefined process.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and proactively identify shop / equipment maintenance needs and note these on the bay white board.
• Ability to operate overhead crane system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
