Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of PET / CT and nuclear medicine experience for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings in a nuclear medicine departmentPerform PET / CT scans, including whole body FDG PET / CT, brain PET imaging, limited cardiac PET, and neuroendocrine imagingMajority of caseload consists of oncologic diagnostic studiesDaily caseload includes approximately 33 PET / CT scans utilizing two PET / CT scannersTypical day shifts include 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, 9 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, or 10 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PMUse of PACS system requiredMain responsibilities include performing PET / CT and nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures across varied patient casesScrubs are not provided; preferred color is greyReference requirements must include at least one manager or formal leader; coworker references are not acceptedCandidates must complete urgent Ohio fingerprinting requirements immediately after contract signingAll time-off requests must be declared at the time of considerationLocal candidates are accepted at the same rateFormer employees eligible if separated for at least 6 months; current employees are not eligible for travel roles at this facilityRequirements
Minimum of 1 year of recent nuclear medicine technologist experience, including PET, cardiac, brain scan, and tumor localization proceduresCurrent BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification, and state license required if applicableExperience in both outpatient and inpatient work settingsProficiency with IV starts and PACS requiredTwo professional references needed, with at least one from a supervisor or managerBenefits
