Production Dryer Operator
Location : Kendallville, IN
Shift : 1st Shift (6 : 00am-4 : 00pm Monday-Friday)
Pay : $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Job Summary
Are you dependable, safety-focused, and looking to grow in a production environment? We're seeking a Production Dryer Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining dryer operations, monitoring production quality, and ensuring safety and compliance throughout your shift.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Dryer Operator, your core responsibilities will include :
Operation : Maintain dryer production according to schedule and company standards.
Quality Monitoring : Track recovery rates and ensure aluminum is properly weighed and labeled.
Environmental Oversight : Monitor emissions and promptly report issues to the Production Supervisor.
Material Handling : Dump aluminum into proper containers and oversee safe mobile equipment operation.
Safety Compliance : Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
Documentation : Maintain accurate pass-down reports and required paperwork between shifts.
Team Support : Follow all directives from management and assist with continuous improvement tasks.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Good work record and attendance
Flexibility to work different jobs, shifts, and overtime as needed
Skills :
Ability to work effectively with management, supervisors, and peers
Basic administrative and mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with equipment and general math
Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods
Ability to walk, sit, climb, reach overhead, and use hands for handling tools and materials
Must be able to lift and move varying weights
Must tolerate extreme heat and cold environments
Good color, close, and distance vision with depth perception
Work Environment :
Work may include exposure to open flames, moving machinery, and outdoor weather conditions. The environment may range from slight to moderate noise, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
