Position Overview

As a Purchaser , you will perform purchasing and procurement responsibilities throughout the project life cycle, from material requisition through delivery. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing of materials and services to support construction and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment for assigned projects.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, procurement documents, and supplier agreements.
• Perform commercial bid evaluations and coordinate technical reviews with project teams.
• Source and qualify suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and on-time delivery.
• Expedite supplier submittals and deliveries to support engineering and construction schedules.
• Compile and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and analyze supplier proposals.
• Maintain project procurement status and material tracking reports.
• Communicate and resolve procurement issues with internal teams and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Burns & McDonnell procurement policies and standards.
