    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Louisiana license required
  • Board : BC EM / IM / FM or BE EM with ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, PALS (required if not BCEM)
  • Experience : Residency-trained in EM / IM / FP with EM experience
  • Other Qualifications : Must complete VPMA interview, EMR (EPIC) training & orientation

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide 12-hour ED coverage in a Level II trauma center
  • Perform standard emergency medicine procedures
  • Collaborate with NPPA staff and specialty backup
  • Participate in EMR documentation using Ochsner EPIC
  • Maintain credentialing and licensing requirements
