Forward Deployed Engineer

Full-time | On-site | New York, NY

Compensation : $160K – $220K + Competitive Equity

About the Role

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who thrives where deep technology meets complex, real-world systems. You’ll work directly with customers to deploy intelligent software, integrate advanced AI solutions into enterprise environments, and turn field insights into the next generation of product capabilities.

As an FDE, you’ll operate “at the edge”—building the first version of new products in collaboration with a single customer, iterating rapidly, and shaping the foundation for future deployments. Your work will directly inform engineering priorities and product strategy while delivering measurable impact to mission-critical organizations.

What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with enterprise clients to understand operational challenges and design tailored AI-powered solutions
• Deploy and integrate intelligent systems into customer workflows and data infrastructure
• Translate field experience into actionable feedback for the product and engineering teams
• Act as the technical liaison and trusted partner for client stakeholders
• Lead onboarding, training, and long-term adoption of deployed systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of core AI products
