• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit / department specialty according to patient care policies.\n
• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.\n
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.\n
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.\n
• Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.\n
• Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.\n
• Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.\n
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.\n
