Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00)

License : Valid compact or state license required

Certifications : BLS; ONS and OCN preferred

Must-Have : Experience in GI Oncology, Cardiac Arrest / CPR, Starting IVs, Laboratory Tests - Blood Glucose via Glucometer, Specimen Collection

Job Description :

• Provide nursing care in an outpatient clinic specializing in GI Oncology.
• Serve adult and geriatric patient demographics.
• Handle approximately 125 patient visits per day.
• Use EPIC for documentation.
• Perform required laboratory tests and specimen collections.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all compliance and credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting, promptly.
• Attend a 24-hour orientation before starting duties.

Note : Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted. This position is open to first-time travelers. Candidates currently residing outside the state but within driving distance must complete fingerprinting as soon as possible. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor. Previous employees are eligible for a travel assignment if they have been away for six months or more. Current employees are not eligible for a travel assignment. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
