Vertiv is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Manufacturing Systems & Process Engineering Leader in Westerville, OH to lead the global implementation of the Manufacturing System Commodity Bill of Process (BoP). This role will be responsible for the cross-function collaboration to continuously improve the BoP framework, aligning global manufacturing teams, and ensuring consistent deployment across global manufacturing sites.
Commodity Bill of Process & Standardization
- Lead the development, standardization, and global deployment of the Manufacturing Bill of Process (BoP) for Vertiv.
- Define BoP frameworks that align with product architecture, manufacturing strategies, and quality expectations.
- Ensure the BoP supports scalability, digital integration, lean principles, and cross-site consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate, document, and continuously improve BoP standards across global manufacturing sites.
Global Implementation & Governance
Lead the global rollout of the BoP across all relevant manufacturing sites.Establish governance structures to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and feedback integration.Develop and maintain a global dashboard for BoP adoption, OOE tracking, and capacity reporting.Manufacturing Systems DesignGuide the design and optimization of high-volume and low-volume flexible assembly systems.Ensure alignment with lean manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and ergonomic best practices.Support digital twin development and integration into production workflows.Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as the central point of contact between global AME, product engineering, IT, and factory operations.Facilitate workshops, training, and change management initiatives to drive adoption.Report progress and KPIs to executive leadership.External Technology Partnerships
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with external manufacturing technology suppliers, automation vendors, and digital solution providers.Continuously scan the market for emerging technologies that align with the Bill of Process strategy and have the potential to improve key manufacturing KPIs such as throughput, quality, flexibility, and cost.Lead technology evaluation and pilot programs, ensuring alignment with global manufacturing goals and integration into the standardized BoP framework.Education & Certifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in global process standardization and multi-site implementation.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, MES, and Digital Twin technologies.
Familiarity with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) production models.
Expertise in PFMEA, ZFF / NFF, OOE / OEE, and capacity modeling.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
