Job Description

As a Security Professional - Distribution Site - Full Time in Temple, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the site. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized access within the logistics and distribution location.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding visitors, employees, and / or drivers according to site-specific protocols.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site policies as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter potential security-related issues.
  • Complete detailed reports and document observations, incidents, and / or activities as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to support access control and incident response efforts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
