The ChiefFinancial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership teamresponsible for overseeing the agency’s financial and support servicesoperations. This Executive position directs the organization’s supportfunctions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principlesestablished by FASB and GASB, as well as other applicable regulatorystandards and sound financial management practices. The CFO providesstrategic leadership in finance, human resources, and information systems toensure organizational integrity, efficiency, and compliance. This roleoversees budgeting, reporting, audits, grants management, and policyimplementation, while supervising multidisciplinary staff to support theorganization’s mission and long-term sustainability.
GENERALPURPOSE
The Chief Financial Officer serves as a strategic partner to the ChiefExecutive Officer and executive leadership team, providing financial insightand guidance that drive organizational priorities and growth. Reportingdirectly to the CEO, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for bothhigh-level strategic planning and day-to-day financial management. The CFOensures accurate and timely reporting to the Board and stakeholders, overseesbudgeting and planning processes, and maintains internal controls andcompliance standards. Through active engagement with staff and operations,the CFO strengthens financial systems, leads support functions, and ensuresthat resources are effectively managed to sustain the agency’s mission andservice to the community.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, or reach with hands and arms. Work Environment : This position operates primarily in an office setting with minimal noise and frequent interaction with staff, leadership, and external partners. Occasional exposure to weather conditions may occur during travel or off-site meetings. A hybrid work arrangement may be available based on organizational needs and performance expectations, though regular on-site presence is required for leadership, collaboration, and operational oversight. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend hours required for board meetings, events, or special projects. Some travel is required, including local, regional, and national trips for meetings, conferences, and professional representation.
