About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic sales leader to drive the success of our account management team. This is a fully remote role overseeing the Midwest territory. Travel expectation : up to 50%.
The Director of Account Management is responsible for overseeing the account management team, driving customer retention and growth, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. This role develops and executes account strategies, mentors team members, and collaborates cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience and maximize revenue.
What You'll Do
Lead and mentor account management team to achieve retention and expansion goals
Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow key client accounts
Act as primary contact for high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met
Monitor account health and performance metrics; adjust strategies as needed
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
Resolve client issues and complaints promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction
Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams to improve service delivery
Prepare and present reports on account status, performance and forecasts
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus
Requirements
7+ years of experience in Account Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of driving customer retention and revenue growth
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
