The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace. Role Purpose

In partnership with the Plant HR Manager, this role ensures that the facility is staffed with the right number and type of talent necessary to execute plant strategy and achieve targeted business results. The role supports the cultivation of a positive work environment, fostering a unified "One Corning" culture consistent with company values while further contributing to the achievement of budgetary objectives by supporting top quartile performance while maintaining high standards of HR. This role assists in the effective implementation of global HR business processes within the plant and ensures full compliance with all HR-related legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR Business Partner, supporting manufacturing teams in compensation, employee engagement, employee relations, development, compliance, analytics, performance management, and staffing.
• Provide coaching, counsel, and actionable insights to help leaders make effective talent decisions and foster positive employee relations.
• Drive talent management programs, including leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential employee identification, aligned with business strategy.
• Resolve employee relations issues fairly to support efficient plant operations.
• Coach plant management on leadership practices to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams to enhance onboarding experiences.
• Identify and address workplace issues, implement engagement solutions, and improve business results.
• Lead or support HR-related projects and initiatives to improve processes and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with management and employees to provide guidance on organizational matters.
• Promote professional standards, positive working relationships, and alignment with Corning's values.
• Analyze turnover trends and work with the Plant HR Manager to implement improvement actions.
• Maintain a presence on the plant floor to stay connected with employees and organizational dynamics.

The range for this position is $79,519.00 - $109,339.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
