Job Description
The Office of Admission seeks an Assistant/Senior Assistant Director of Admission to recruit and enroll students to graduate and professional level programs on our Worcester, Manchester, and Online campuses. The Assistant/Senior Assistant Director will work with students through continued engagement and guidance, as well as establish relationships with institutional partners to meet enrollment goals. This position offers a flexible work arrangement with the opportunity to work remote part of the week. The ideal candidate would work in our Manchester, NH Office 2 days per week with occasional responsibilities and travel to our Worcester Office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Advise students, parents, and institutional partners on admission into a variety of programs at MCPHS throughout the application cycle
• Take a creative approach to enrollment through strategy, educating prospective students on benefits and differentiators of their program and an education at MCPHS
• Become familiar with all transfer and graduate offerings and assist admission colleagues responsible for those populations with aspects of recruitment when necessary
• Conduct extensive outbound calling, email, and texting campaigns at various stages of the application cycle
• Review application credentials for applicants from a variety of programs, and become familiar with pre-requisite and admission requirements for all transfer and graduate programs
• Conduct Information Sessions, appointments, and tours, in-person and virtually, for various populations interested in transfer and graduate programs
• Identify and establish professional connections with new and existing partners locally and nationally, and travel as needed
• Assist with recruitment events for prospective students
• Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Admission
• Contributes to sustaining and enhancing an inclusive working and learning environment
Requirements
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in admission, higher education, or related field
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate and market programs across all campuses
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Ability to thrive in a customer service role
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• A valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM
• Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Physical Requirements:
• Standing, sitting, manual dexterity, ability to move between offices and buildings
• Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
• Must be able to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure
• Must be able to be physically in attendance at designated worksite during scheduled work hours and to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to travel at various times of the year locally and nationally.
