Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Client Implementation Supervisor, the Information Systems Analyst 2 (ISA2) provides primary support for the Workstation on Wheels (WOW) cart devices, deployment of endpoint devices and participates in endpoint technical support and client services activities. The incumbent applies IT professional concepts and established department procedures to resolve moderately complex issues. Responsibilities include providing primary support for WOW cart devices and performing endpoint refreshes, client equipment deployments, moves and additions, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and providing support during go-live events. The ISA2 supports clinical cart operations, the client desktop environment and business applications, coordinates with team members and vendors, and contributes to planning and process improvements.
The incumbent supports project-related tasks (e.g., documentation, scheduling, or testing). Work assignments may require flexibility outside traditional business hours to meet operational needs.

UC Davis Health (UCDH) Information Technology (IT) accomplishes planning and implementation activities to service the Health System's needs for teaching, clinical high-quality patient care, and research. The Client Implementation team is responsible for the planning, deployment, maintenance, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and support of client devices (Desktops, Laptops, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Printers, Scanners, Carts, etc.) and their connectivity to the network, the applications, and the databases as well as locally installed business productivity applications. The department provides technical leadership and support for the cost-effective use of computers, software, and networking including installation, training, and problem resolution
