Medical Search International is hiring an Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient consults, STEMI emergencies, and various cardiology procedures including diagnostic caths. The physician will interpret echo and stress tests while handling an average of 3-5 stress tests and 3-5 caths per day. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible and have at least 5 years post-fellowship experience.

Inpatient - Consulting and ED STEMI Call. When on ED STEMI call, the cardiologist responds to STEMI and ED Emergencies; does bedside consults at the request of hospitalist, performs CATHS if needed; Interprets ECHO and STRESS TESTS.

What types of cases

We performing diagnostic Caths and we are a low risk PCI Center. We also do TEE s; Echoes; Nuclear and Treadmill Stress Tests.

Shift work or call coverage

Our calls are 24 hour shifts where the above procedures are being done.

Call volume

• It varies but consults; 3 Caths; STEMs are variable but we usually have around 10 STEMI s per month;

Average number of procedures per day

3-5 Stress Tests; 2 TEE s; 3 - 5 Caths; 10 Echoes

If call can they stay at a nearby hotel

Do they need to be board certified

BC or BE (Must be 5 years post fellowship)
