Job description

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Plattsburgh, New York.

Facility : Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital

Need 12 / 01 start - Assignment for 16-32 weeks

RN for PCU : Will be assigned to float team. A minimum of every other weekend and / or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Travelers must work 2 out of the 3 holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas / Christmas Eve, and New Years Day / Eve.

Requirements :

  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required; NIHSS required prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year tele experience required
  • Insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IV's, post cardiac cath
  • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
  • NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required in packet at time of submission - please note NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks and we will take that into consideration with start dates / offers

    • Additional Information :

  • IVS to OFFER
  • Monday to Sunday
  • No block schedules for any reason
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 12 / 15
  • Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained
