Board certified / board eligible gastroenterologist. Candidates must be motivated, independent and willing to help start a new practice. H-1b eligible. Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a board certified / board eligible Gastroenterology physician to join our GI practice for Austell and Douglasville locations. This is an office location which will have 3 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners. Wellstar Medical Group is a multi specialty group with 600 Physicians and the Gastroenterologists joining the group with have a very strong referral base. Components of the practice will include call, inpatient rounding, procedures as well as an outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

Core and Essential Functions

• Clinical Practice of Gastroenterology including
• The care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both.
• The documentation of clinical care
• The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions
• Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification
• Required for All Jobs
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
