Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) for a 13-week contract. This role offers a guaranteed 36-hour workweek and the opportunity to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to residents in a supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a passion for helping patients regain mobility and independence. Key Responsibilities : Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist. Follow individualized care plans to support patient rehabilitation and functional improvement. Document treatment sessions accurately and in accordance with SNF standards and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care. Assist with patient transfers, mobility exercises, and therapeutic activities. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment. Requirements : Active and current Texas PTA license. SNF experience preferred but not required. Strong communication, clinical, and time-management skills. Ability to work scheduled daytime shifts consistently throughout the contract period. BLS certification may be required based on facility standards.
