The Loan Servicing Project Specialist serves as a subject matter expert with responsibility for planning, organizing, administering, and / or leading short-term initiatives of varying scope within a division(s) and / or department(s). The Loan Servicing Project Specialist may work on several projects concurrently.

Responsibilities include :

• Developing tactical plans to implement projects.
• Managing resources to ensure that projects are implemented in the most cost-effective manner.
• Negotiating agreements / contracts with outside vendors or entities and ensuring commitments are met.
• Communicating the purpose of the project to internal constituencies and / or external customers / community members.
• Developing and implementing measures to determine and monitor effectiveness of projects.
• Providing training to others regarding features and benefits of projects.
• Demonstrating compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applying to designated job responsibilities.
• Following all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completing all required annual or job-specific training.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations.
• Coaching, mentoring, or training others and teaching coursework as subject matter expert.
• Actively learning, demonstrating, and fostering the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.
• Taking personal initiative and being a positive example for others to emulate.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in business, a related field, or equivalent preferred.

Less than 2 years of relevant business experience required.

Strong relationship management and operational abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, loan servicing, and project management skills.

Knowledge of products and services in project area.

Proven track record of success and skills in project area.

Knowledge of policies, procedures, practices and documentation in project area.

Proven ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects / schedules.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.

Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.

Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or has the interest in learning to train and present.

The pay range for this role is $22.70 - $37.84 / hr., and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
