Project Manager -Imaging Systems

CACI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager for our EO / IR Imaging Systems department, driving innovation and delivering high-quality products. This person will work onsite from our Bozeman, MT office working with a distributed workforce with part of the team being in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional organizational and project documentation skills, and a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams. Duties include all areas of project management, from initiation through closeout to ensure the successful execution of the project's mission, goals, and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Work with functional leads to allocate resources effectively to support initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments for successful project delivery.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough documentation of processes and projects.
• Promote continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Ability to conduct monthly program management reviews.
• Ability to manage project schedules.
• Act as a project leader at the individual order level, providing direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Conduct internal Program Management Reviews and provide regular briefings, reports, and recommendations on program execution to senior leadership on project status, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications

Required : + Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or related field. + 5+ years of professional experience in a project management role. + Previous project / program leadership experience. + Excellent multitasking, communication, and presentation skills. + Ability to create project documentation. + Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Schedule, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Ability to travel up to 10% of time during program start up.

Desired : + Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, MBA preferred. + PMP certification highly desired. + Experience with optics, gimbal systems, or EO / IR imaging. + Familiarity with ITAR regulations. + Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices. + Experience in defense, intelligence, or government sectors. + Experience with Jira and Confluence

The proposed salary range for this position is : $65,000 - $136,500
