Job descriptionAt least 2-3 years of experience as a Tower Technician; Experience with antenna, fiber optic cabling, coax, and radio & microwave installations; Demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety and general industry knowledge; Climbing / rescue training and basic first aid training are preferred; Knowledge of electrical systems, telecommunications, and safety regulations. Utilities One is looking for a local, qualified Tower Technician II in the Colorado market.

Responsibilities :
- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing communications equipment such as antennas and towers, including fiber optic cables and other components;
- Performing equipment swaps and site upgrades;
- Conducting repairs to telecom towers at a height;
- Ensuring on-site safety and complying with safety standards;
- Performing tests on equipment to ensure it is functioning properly;
- Review the scope of work and construction drawings with the Crew Leader;
- Maintaining records of work orders and completion dates.
