Accounts Receivable/ Collections Clerk

Conejo Services is seeking an Accounts Receivable/ Collections Clerk to join our team. The Account Receivable/ Collections Clerk performs accounts receivable duties to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments, daily reconciliation of cash and accurate reporting of receivables in accordance with Concentra policies, practices and procedures. This individual should have an eye for detail and have great customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned customer accounts to keep current.
• Report to supervisor issues with accounts that need to be solved.
• Build relationships to improve collection efforts.
• Enter data from invoices to our accounting software.
• Post deposits to our bank and to accounting software on a daily basis.
• Reconcile balances to bank records.
• Monitors customer status (within payments terms/credit limit).
• Communicate with supervisor and other departments to revise customer status.
• Ensure monthly AR sales invoices are recorded accurately and timely.
• Reconcile unapplied receipts monthly to ensure accuracy in financial records.

• Minimum 1 years' experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
• Strong general computer skills with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Time Management - ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
