Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse - L&D

Location : Morristown, NJ 07960

Pay Range : $65 / hr to $69 / hr, $2713 / Weekly

Shift : Days, 7am-7pm (12 hrs)

Duration : 12 Weeks (Contract) with possible extension.

Required : 2 years of travel exp

Key Responsibilities :

Has competent knowledge of all the normal stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric and delivers patient care appropriately.

Performs thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive and accurate.

Patient Education and Chart Completion.

Assesses patient’s understanding of surgical procedure / instructions, actively including the patient and family members in teaching.

Performs pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education.

Supports the completion of patient testing in a timely manner.

Evaluates Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders for appropriateness and for potential omissions based on proposed surgery, patient age, and current state of health.

Required Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing associate or bachelor's Degree
• ACLS, BLS
• RN License
