Tutor - Contract (Remote)

About the project

Fixpoint is hiring Tutors for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Tutor.

You're a good fit if you have experience with :

• Providing one-on-one or small group instruction to improve academic performance
• Reviewing class material and teaching study skills and test-taking strategies
• Assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
• Preparing lesson plans and developing teaching materials

or have similar experience.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications

• Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Education Services.
• Native-level English skills
• U.S. residency
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience developing lesson plans and teaching materials
• Knowledge of assessment tools and progress tracking systems
• Background collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators

Benefits

Compensation & logistics

• Hourly pay : $23 – $34 , commensurate with experience and project fit.
• Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates
• Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
• You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
• Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
