Job Responsibilities :

1. Assist employees in their work and assist with training operators in work instructions on material handling equipment (tuggers, carts, MRM, scanners, etc.), material handler duties and responsibilities, and material flow in the plant.

2. Maintain lines with zero downtime due to waiting on parts.

3. Responsible for the delivery of parts to the line and reporting any disruptions to the Material Handling Area Leader.

4. Perform and lead cycle counts for line-side inventory.

5. Perform daily audits of the work area for 5S and the safety checklist for equipment, and report all issues found to the Area Leader.

6. Communicate issues to the Area Leader or Department Manager.

7. Fosters positive working relationships with all personnel in the division.

8. Leads by example to other employees by attendance, good work performance, and displaying positive behaviors.

9. Follows and supports LMV Automotive System's and Magna's operating principles, including :

a. Magna Employee Charter - Operating under its principles by treating all employees equally, fairly, and with dignity and respect without favoritism.

b. Open Door Policy - Facilitates the process without fear of reprisal. Solves issues by encouraging two-way, open, and friendly communication.

c. C48 - Listens to issues and concerns and responds within 48 hours

e. Safety First - Leads by example and enforces all of the plant's safety rules and procedures by wearing PPE at all times and immediately addressing all safety concerns. Promotes an environment where zero injuries are the expected standard.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Although the position does not have direct supervisory experience, it will serve as a trainer and leader to operators.

C Shift Scheduled is :

Sunday / Monday 5 : 15 pm-5 : 15 am

Friday / Saturday 5 : 15 am-5 : 15 pm

Overtime often required

Hourly rate starting at $27.87 plus shift differential.

Qualifications : (These qualifications represent the minimum requirements of the position. Employees will be required to possess the ability and aptitudes to perform the duties proficiently.)

Education and / or Experience :

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to drive tuggers.
• Ability to use tablet devices, scanners, and printers for barcode labels.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to set direction and make decisions.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must exhibit high integrity and honesty.
• Ability to effectively and appropriately present information and respond to questions from various groups.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
