Summary

The Soda Fountain / Retail Clerk is responsible for providing incredible service to all Vincents customers. The Soda Fountain / Retail Clerk is also responsible for properly and accurately handling all monies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Rings up all sales on cash register, properly and accurately handling money, checks and other types of payment received for products sold
• Serves food, beverages, or desserts to customers
• Provides prompt, courteous customer service
• Performs housecleaning duties necessary to maintain store cleanliness and basic upkeep and / or cleaning of all equipment in the store
• Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses
• Performs all duties with a minimal supervision, and may be required to work irregular hours, attend job-related meetings, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in retail sales is a must
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment
• Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less.

Saturday work required - 5 hours

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position is primarily indoors.
