Job description

Materials Management Associate

The role of the Materials Management Associate is to support the Materials Management team with an emphasis on warehouse and inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the warehouse and inventory.
  • Work with staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify any discrepancies.
  • Verify purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for expensive / irrelevant product.
  • Interact with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors.
  • Keep and file records of purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documents.
  • Perform any other tasks / duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a relevant field, preferred.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, and / or Record-Keeping, required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the ERP system.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical Environment and Requirements

  • Warehouse and office work environment.
  • Employee must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Expected Salary Range : $23.61-25.00

    The salary range is the minimum and maximum hourly rate of compensation for the role that the employer in good faith believes to be accurate at the time of the posting of an advertisement for the role. Actual compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, knowledge, skills and experience.
