Since 2016 our high-protein drinkable oatmeal has reached over a million customers through direct-to-consumer and were now scaling with all major nationwide retail and club partners. Our goal : become a household brand by leveraging speed storytelling and strategy.
We are vertically integrated : we develop manufacture and fulfill everything in-house. This operational control allows us to engage customers directly into the R&D process an
initiative where we were first-to-market in CPG. It also makes our brand tangible and real : our factory our team and our product pipeline are all part of the narrative.

Whats the Job
As a Safety Manager at Oats Overnight you will be responsible for leading and managing the organizations health safety and environmental programs; ensuring compliance with regulations; and promoting a safe work environment through policy development training and incident investigation. The Safety Manager will lead best practice and process improvement initiatives at regional locations to foster a culture of safety as a pillar of business success.
What Youll Be Doing : Stop Scanning and Read This Part
Collaborate with management to develop implement and maintain comprehensive safety programs policies and proceduresIdentify potential hazards and risks associated with equipment processes and work areasConduct safety training sessions for employees; ensure new hires receive proper safety orientation and provide ongoing safety education and awareness to promote a strong safety culture.Regularly inspect the facility equipment and work areas to identify potential safety hazards and / or non-compliance with food and safety standardsInvestigate accidents incidents and near-misses to determine the root causes and implement preventative measuresPromote a culture of safety awareness and proactive behavior among employees; communicate safety-related information updates and remindersPartner with HR team on coordination of Workers Compensation requirements and activitiesOversee organizational efforts to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with environmental regulationsDevelop departmental safety key performance indicators.Prepare and maintain safety records and reports.Stay current with changes in safety regulations and best practices.Collaborate with other departments to ensure safety procedures are followed.What Youve Done and Who You Are
Bachelors degree in occupational safety and health environmental health or a related field. CSP or OHST certifications preferred5-7 years of applicable job experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to lead others through influenceComputer proficiency with MS OfficeRazor-sharp problem-solving skillsAble to systematize and churn through a large volume of information and responsibilitiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlinesProven aptitude to manage many competing projects and prioritiesAble to move fluidly between collaborative and independent work stylesAdept at making assessments quickly and identifying the best course of actionWhy You Might Like Working Here
