Experience Level : 1-3 years

Department : Surgery

Shift Timings : 06 : 30-17 : 00 Hours Monday to Friday (4 Days / 10 Hours)

Per Week : 40Hours

BLS, Certified; Rotating / Flexible Start and End times as needed

Call : based on department needs but usually 1-2 weeknights per week, one weekend every 4-week schedule, holidays as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.

Sterilizing equipment and instruments.

Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.

Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.

Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.

Tracking surgical supplies.

Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.

Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.

Helping provides great patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience : Robotics, Neuro, orthopedics (total joints), general, plastics

May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Required Skills

Certified Surgical Technician (CST)

Certifications & Clearance Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS)
