Your role and responsibilities
IT Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites through-out the US (Up to 60% telecommuting permitted) :
Develop test solutions for complex telecom projects, validate architectural solutions, and ensure high level and low-level design approaches align with business requirements and client architecture.
Set up test environments based on various requirements and collaborate with subject matter experts, architects, production support, and other cross-functional teams.
Work closely with clients, providing regular project status updates.
Leverage hands-on experience with IP network elements such as CISCO and JUNIPER routers.
Analyze existing systems and propose value added improvements by developing, implementing, and executing test automation frameworks and scripts for provisioning and configuring network devices.
Develop high-level test strategies, detailed test plans, and test case documents for Agile and DevOps projects.
Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues to ensure seamless operations.
Utilize : Combinatorial Test Design (CTD), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), Python, Selenium, Robot, CISCO / JUNIPER Router Configurations, Atlassian Jira, SAFE Agile Methodology.
Required : Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as an IT Specialist or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Combinatorial Test Design (CTD), RHEL, RDBMS, Python, Selenium, Robot, CISCO / JUNIPER Router Configurations, Atlassian Jira, SAFE Agile Methodology. $121285 to $171285 per year.
