Description :

The Administrative Assistant will assist in reaching and equipping people with the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Valley and around the world by providing support for the ministries at NPHX Church.

This part-time role supports the team with excellence in organization, communication, and event planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, relational, and passionate.

Requirements :

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION (SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & EDUCATION)

  • Committed Christian living a life of obedience, with beliefs consistent with NPHX Church’s statement of faith.
  • Must become a member of NPHX Church.
  • Previous experience in administrative support; experience in a church or ministry context preferred.
  • Highly relational—able to connect with guests, members, staff, and volunteers in various settings.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace; experience with Planning Center is a plus.
  • Trustworthy and professional with handling confidential information.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict or sensitive situations with grace and wisdom.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to ministries at NPHX.
  • Assist in planning and promoting events such as retreats, Bible studies, classes, and gatherings.
  • Maintain accurate records for ministry programs, leaders, and participants.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and communication of volunteers and group leaders.
  • Manage logistics such as scheduling, room reservations, supply purchases, and event setup.
  • Process and track ministry expenses and budgets as directed.
  • Coordinate calendars for ministry team.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, classes, and ministry events.
  • Ensure smooth communication across teams and ministries.
