Grounds Maintenance Team Member

Reports to : Structural Integrity and Grounds Manager

FLSA Status : Non-exempt

Grounds Maintenance Team Member Job Summary :

This position provides general grounds cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of Springfield Underground and Erlen Group Real Estate Division properties. The “grounds” include all developed and undeveloped areas of the underground warehousing complex and all above ground surfaces, including but not limited to Springfield Underground, Limelight Development, Umlaut, and the Frisco Building. The person occupying this position is expected to represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner.

Grounds Maintenance Team Member Duties / Responsibilities :

• Perform preventative maintenance and other minor repairs to ensure equipment is in good working order
• Assist with building issues and maintenance programs
• Pressure wash and cleaning of all mine ceilings, pillars, walls, and surfaces of the developed areas
• Clean travel ways as needed with a motorized street sweeper and scrubber
• Patrol the grounds to pick up debris and trash
• Maintain grounds, to include fence lines, parking areas, developed mine, and all other necessary areas of the property
• Railroad yard work including but not limited to shuttle wagon operations, operating track switches, couple and uncouple rail cars, carry out rail car moves, conveyor transloading, etc.
• Snow removal and salting of surfaces as need to maintain safe ingress and egress of all properties
• Assist with structural integrity and facility maintenance
