Position : Off-Site Installation Center (OSIC) Technician
Location : Zionsville, Indiana
Shift : Second Shift — Monday–Thursday, 3 : 15 PM–11 : 45 PM, Friday 12p to 8 : 30p
Overview
The Off-Site Installation Center (OSIC) Technician plays a key role in the pre-installation process for customer equipment. This position focuses on preparing, testing, and delivering fully configured instruments that are ready for installation at customer sites. You’ll work hands-on with electro-mechanical systems, follow standardized protocols, ensure quality compliance, and support a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, test, and operate equipment in alignment with established standard operating procedures and site protocols.
- Inspect products to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Complete all process orders, documentation, records, and metrics with a high level of accuracy.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain work centers to required standards.
- Perform material handling tasks for incoming and outgoing instruments.
- Maintain and proactively support the site’s quality system and daily quality objectives.
- Train and support team members as needed.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED and one of the following :2 years of technical school, Equivalent military training, or Equivalent work experience.At least 2 years of progressive experience in :Mechanical / system hardware repair or service,Software or IT troubleshooting,Networking or wireless networking, orEquivalent military experience.Strong time-management and organizational skills.Solid written and verbal communication abilities.Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, IT, and / or certified Medical Technician background.Ability to follow and comply with all safety, health, and environmental procedures.Preferred Experience
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.Experience working in a regulated industry or quality-controlled environment.
