Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Program Manager to lead and mentor a team while managing critical business strategies on a global scale. In this role, you will oversee and guide multiple employees across diverse functions within our Business Development organization. Your leadership will play a key role in shaping our projects, policies, and financial performance. You will define long-term objectives, manage budgets, and foster relationships with key customers to drive our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a personal sales quota of at least US$2M.
  • Serve as the strategic business interface for several global accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with customer goals over the next 1-5 years.
  • Create customer presentations and proposals to support strategic initiatives.
  • Guide Sales and Operations teams to align their efforts with our overall strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements effectively, establishing a clear negotiation mandate.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all RFQ responses and proposals.
  • Advocate for Celestica's business interests at all levels.
  • Manage customer perceptions proactively to foster strong relationships.
  • Provide support and insights on executing contract terms and conditions.
  • Identify and analyze new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate global strategic account activities.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports to enhance their performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a high-performing sales professional or sales team leader.
  • Strong skills in business management and high business acumen.
  • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and influence others effectively.
  • Experience in managing teams and HR-related activities.
  • Physical Demands

  • Position duties primarily occur in a standard office setting.
  • Frequent extended periods of sitting and visual concentration on screens.
  • Some responsibilities may require repetitive manual movements and occasional overnight travel (25-50%).
  • Expect to work long hours, particularly during busy periods.
  • Experience and Education

  • 11 to 14 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years in field sales and 2 years in business development / management. Previous Sales Management experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Salary Range

    Salary range : $119 - 170K Annually. This range is an estimate and may fluctuate based on various factors, including changes in position responsibilities or candidate qualifications.
