• Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas with a clear license.\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required. Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.\n
• Must have at least 2 years' current experience as a Surgical staff RN and supervisor experience.\n\nHours And Compensation Potential\n
• Position is full time day shift. Some evenings and weekends on call.\n
• Range is $65K-95K dependent on years of experience.\n
• A full benefit package is offered and a relocation / sign-on bonus is possible.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n
• Promotes and restores patient's health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the surgical services areas.\n
• Directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff; providing physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.\n
• Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the delivery of patient care in the absence of the department director.\n
• Serves as nursing clinical resource person and intervenes in difficult situations or medical cases.\n
• Coordinates the staffing of the shifts and call schedules.\n
• Acts as administrative representative, interpreting and enforcing established policies and procedures for Surgery and Sterile Processing Departments.\n
