Hematology / Oncology Physician

Join Our Dynamic Hematology / Oncology Team in Mason City, IA

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Hematology / Oncology physician to join our expanding practice at a state-of-the-art facility in Mason City, Iowa. This practice focuses primarily on outpatient care with a minimal inpatient presence, ensuring an excellent work-life balance with reasonable patient loads. Our beautiful, comprehensive Cancer Center has been recently renovated and offers a supportive environment with multiple resources for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on both hematology and oncology.
• Manage approximately 12-16 patients per day.
• Perform necessary procedures including management of VAD / CV catheters and intrathecal chemotherapy.
• Participate in tumor board discussions and order necessary tests / imaging.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 4 Hematology Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 4 APPs.
• Engage in teaching opportunities for CRNA students.
• Utilize the Mosaiq EMR system effectively.
• Maintain a minimal on-call schedule, with 1 : 4 phone call coverage.
