Territory Sales Manager - Based out of Portland, OR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION : The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and driving sales growth within a specific geographic area. They develop sales strategies, analyze data, address customer concerns, and identify new sales opportunities. This role is crucial in increasing revenue and expanding business within the assigned territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Travel routinely to visit new and existing customers, acquire and retain clients, assess current needs, and generate additional sales.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
- Provide customer support by responding to inquiries and requests.
- Present products to prospective customers in both small and large groups.
- Maintain and update databases with accurate customer information.
- Use system reports to identify additional sales opportunities.
- Prepare expense reports and manage projects promptly.
- Keep management and team members informed of relevant activities.
- Perform other sales duties as assigned by management.
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to cultivate customer relationships.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Ability to sit and / or stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.REQUIREMENTS :
Experience in B2B sales, addressing customer concerns, and providing solutions.Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue in field sales.Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of B2B technical sales experience.Self-motivated, team-oriented, results-driven.Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills.Proficiency with Salesforce is a plus.Proficient in MS Office.Strong technical skills to present technical concepts and demonstrate product use.Ability to travel across the U.S. and Europe.BENEFITS :
