Auto Mechanic

We are looking for an entry level auto mechanic to join our busy repair shop.

You will assist our customers by diagnosing and repairing issues with the performance and function of their vehicles.

You need to have inspection and emission licenses or be eligible to get them.

Duties :

• Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, spark plug replacement, fluid flushes, etc
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission and brakes
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
• Convey information to service writer in a concise manner with what repairs need done and what parts will be needed
• Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.

Skills / Qualifications : Must have valid driver's license Completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred Safety inspection license or ability to get one Emission inspection license or ability to get one Strong communication skills are required Benefits include :
