Job descriptionKeep restrooms, lodges, and public areas clean and stocked Empty trash and recycling bins regularly Assist with basic maintenance as needed Clear snow and ice from walkways, entry points, and high-traffic areas Use shovels, blowers, and other snow removal equipment Apply sand / salt as needed for guest safety Assist with prep, dishwashing, bussing, or restocking in dining areas Greet and help customers in retail and food venues Keep retail and F&B areas clean, organized, and guest-ready Due to the physical and dynamic nature of work in the ski industry, employees are expected to perform all duties related to their position when they are physically and mentally capable of doing so. This may include duties outside your assigned position. This includes working in variable weather conditions, handling equipment, assisting guests, and responding to operational needs as they arise. Reasonable accommodations will be provided in accordance with applicable laws for employees with documented medical or physical limitations. A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Ability to work in extreme weather and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to learn and take on multiple responsibilities Prior snowmaking or facilities experience a plus, but not required Flexibility with scheduling – early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Sandia Peak Ski Area is now hiring Facilities & Operations Crew Members for the upcoming winter season! This is a hands-on, fast-paced position perfect for individuals who like variety in their work and love being outdoors in a mountain environment.
If you're a hard worker who doesn't mind early mornings, cold temps, and physical tasks, this is your chance to be an essential part of our mountain operations.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Operate snowmaking equipment (training provided)
- Monitor weather and snow conditions
- Set up, adjust, and move snow guns and hoses
Snowmaking, Janitorial & Lodge Upkeep, and Snow Removal
Food & Beverage / Retail Support
Requirements
