Our team is seeking an early-career Accounting Assistant to join our growing company in Oakland. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their accounting career while gaining exposure to multiple areas of accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions, including coding invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments
• Support accounts receivable : generate invoices, post payments, and monitor aging reports
• Assist with general accounting duties such as data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes
• Provide support for audit and compliance requests
• Communicate professionally with internal teams and external vendors / customers
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
