Job Title : General Financial Analyst
Location : Richardson, TX (Dallas, TX Suburb.)
- Currently remote, but will move to a hybrid setup in April.
Hours : M-F Day Shift
Contract Length : 12 months, with potential for extension.
Summary :
Our client is looking for an individual who is Bilingual in Mandarin and English with strong a Finance background for a General Finance role. This role is responsible for providing support to business groups, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.) and preparation of financial data / analyses for the business leaders who rely on and benefit from the information to make informed business decisions. This role will carry out accounting and paperwork tasks related to the actual efficient maintenance as well as processing of company accounts payable transactions.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, monitor, analyze, and report key performance metricsInteract frequently with senior-level project managers and lab leadersConduct the five major financial management tasks of labs and projects as assigned, including financial evaluation, annual budgeting, cost forecast, variance analysis, and financial performance reviewConduct presentations for management and key internal stakeholdersCommunicate with Headquarter AP team in a timely manner for payment processMonitor company accounts to ensure payments are up to dateCommunicate across different operational departments and oversee AP team to resolve bill discrepanciesCorrespond with vendors and react to inquiries; produce month-to-month reportsPut together and process company accounts payable checks, wire exchanges, and ACH obligationsPrepare the quarterly and year-end income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740Prepare CIT / sales / use, property, city, and business tax and other regulatory returnsPerform tax research projects and take other ad-hoc projects as requiredEducation and Professional Experience :
Chinese (Mandarin) and English bilingual is requiredBachelor's in accounting, finance and ITM or related areas or aboveAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsA minimum of 2 - 5 years related work experienceEfficient Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.Experience with Oracle Financial Analyzer or equivalent, and Business Intelligence (BI), a plus.Skills :
