Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with retail experience seeking a flexible work schedule. You will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced retail environment, handling a daily volume of 300 to 500 prescriptions. The position requires availability for one scheduled day per week from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm, with the potential for additional PRN shifts as needed.

Responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients, and collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient operations. You will work alongside a team consisting of four full-time and two part-time pharmacists, plus one medication technician, supported by the Pioneer RX computer system.

Key Qualifications and Experience :

• Active Illinois pharmacist license required
• Proven retail pharmacy experience essential
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system preferred
• Ability to manage high prescription volumes efficiently
• Strong patient communication and counseling skills
