Job description75% of the job is traveling, typically Monday to Friday Ability to lift up to 70 lbs Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers verbally and in written form Problem solve and work independently Good driving record Strong work ethic and professionalism Must pass drug test – drug testing is enforced and done regularly Must clear a background check – a passport or the ability to obtain one High School Diploma Familiarity with MS Office, computer hardware, and software in general Some knowledge of Spanish Ability to read and understand wiring schematics Ability to diagnose and repair AC and DC electrical systems Paid vacations and sick leave Benefits offered through Corestream / Paychex
Overview
We are seeking a junior service technician for our Rock Hill, SC, operations. We sell and service industrial measurement instruments for laboratories and production in Canada, the US, and Mexico to our customers, who are major chemical companies. Our service technicians receive in-house training, on-the-job training, and training at our headquarters in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Setup of new equipment and training of users
- Routine calibration to ASTM and ISO standards
- Remote troubleshooting via software and / or phone
- Service and repair visits
