POSITION PURPOSE
The Virtual Fundraising & Events Associate develops, executes, assesses, and refines virtual food drives and third‑party fundraising initiatives. The role collaborates with the Events Manager to coordinate, budget, and orchestrate special events, notably our annual gala that generates over $1M annually. Key responsibilities include cultivating relationships, encouraging deeper engagement, and rallying support from individuals. Flexibility is required, with occasional weeknight and weekend hours and mandatory attendance at both on‑site and off‑site events.

EDUCATION, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
Knowledge of office administrative and management practices; Blackbaud preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Canva (plus). Experience with donor stewardship. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, perform highly detailed work on multiple concurrent tasks, speak confidently in public groups, type accurately, organize priorities, interact professionally with volunteers and donors, speak Spanish (plus), maintain complex and extensive office files, communicate clearly, prepare clear records and reports, use discretion and diplomacy, and establish effective working relationships with staff and volunteers.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
COMPENSATION
This full‑time, non‑exempt hourly position offers a competitive salary of $27.00‑$30.00 per hour based on experience, 403(b) plan with 200% employer matching, excellent health care coverage, company‑paid term life insurance, and generous paid vacation and sick leave.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday‑Friday 8 : 00 am‑4 : 30 pm, with overtime, weekend shifts, and long hours. Requires 5% travel, primarily local during business days.
