We are currently hiring a Kitting Specialist to lead kitting operations for aircraft manufacturing tools. In this critical role, you will oversee the assembly, organization, and delivery of custom tool kits—ensuring precision, accuracy, and efficiency at every step. Job description What You'll Do :
- Lead a team of kitting operators to assemble and deliver production-ready tool kits.
- Manage inventory and stock flow in a dedicated warehouse environment.
- Create foam-fitted toolboxes, label tools, and apply RFID tags for tracking.
- Record and maintain accurate kit data in ERP and inventory systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customer representatives to validate kit content and processes.
- Operate foam-cutting machinery and manage production schedules.
- Monitor quality standards, ensure on-time deliveries, and support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate tool availability with production schedules and forecast inventory needs. What We're Looking For :
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials management.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or production setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse systems, kitting operations, or manufacturing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP software. Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in aerospace logistics or 3PL operations.
- Knowledge of warehouse layout design and inventory planning.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (2D), RFID technology, or foam-cutting systems.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
